Abaddon has always been described as a place relating closley with descriptions of Hell. The most obvious being 'Depths of Hell' and 'the realm of the dead'. The Christian Bible was were Abaddon was first depicted as an individual instead of a dwelling. The individual Abaddon is called 'The Destroyer', 'The angel of the bottemless pit', and 'The king of the tormenting locust'. Although, the nature of Abaddon is debated, Christians consider Abaddon a demon in orgin. The word Abaddon's Hebrew root means 'to perish'.
