In Greek mythology, Dionsyus is the god of wine, celebration and of ecstasy. He is also one of the Twelve Olympians. He is one of the youngest of the Olympians and also the only to be born of a mortal mother. He is a son of Zeus and a mortal princess by the name of Semel. Dionsyus is married to the princess of Crete named Ariache. Some even theorized that she was the goddess of the Greek island Crete.
